The LD electromagnetic flowmeter installed on site, the measurement medium is pure water with low conductivity, and the flow range is 0-500m/h. The temperature is normal temperature. After the installation is complete, the flow rate is displayed accurately, but there will be slight fluctuations, which is a normal phenomenon.

2. Solution

(1) Adjust the zero point correction in the parameters so that the upward value is 0;

(2) Adjust the upper limit of flow to 500.

How to avoid fluid shock damage to turbine flow sensor in field application?

Turbine flowmeter has a long history of development, abundant experimental data, mature technology, high accuracy, good repeatability, and small pressure loss.

The turbine flowmeter measures the volume flow of the medium by using the principle that the rotation of the impeller continuously cuts the magnetic steel and the magnetic field lines of the coil in the signal detector. Limited by the principle, in order to avoid the occurrence of failure, the turbine flowmeter needs to strengthen the protection especially for the impeller.

Although the instrument manufacturer has strengthened the protection of the impeller by improving the deflector, changing the material and structure of the core in the production process, and reducing the failure rate caused by damage to the impeller, the turbine flowmeter impeller is damaged due to misuse on site. When opening and closing the valve, it should be as gentle as possible. If automatic control is used, it is best to use the method of "two-stage opening and two-stage closing" to prevent the fluid from suddenly impacting the impeller or water hammer from damaging the impeller.
