Magnetic float level meter is also called magnetic float level gauge. The magnetic float is the key component of the magnetic flap level gauge. It is developed according to the principle of buoyancy, that is, Archimedes' law, combined with magnetic coupling. So, what are the features and functions of the magnetic float in the magnetic flap level gauge? Here, the magnetic float in the magnetic flap level gauge is taken as an example to be introduced as follows.

Magnetic level gauge components

A magnetic flap liquid level gauge that realizes real-time measurement of liquid level based on the structure of the connector, the principle of buoyancy and the magnetic coupling. Its structure is mainly composed of measuring main tube, magnetic panel indicator, float sensing element, process connection flange parts and sewage venting components.

1. Main tube

The main tube of the magnetic flap level gauge is a cavity used to accommodate the floating ball. 2. Float sensing element

The float sensing element is put into the main measuring tube in advance. It rises or falls with the liquid level in the container. A set of magnetic units is fixed in the float. Its height in the float is exactly the same as that of the corresponding liquid. The liquid level is the same height.

3. Magnetic panel indicator

The magnetic panel indicator of the magnetic flap level gauge is usually bundled on the outer surface of the main body tube to indicate the liquid level in real time. Its specific working principle is: under the magnetic coupling of the permanent magnet steel of the magnetic float in the main tube of the magnetic flap level gauge, the flap in the magnetic panel indicator is turned over, and both sides of the flap are painted with different colors (usually red and white), generally, when the liquid level in the container rises, the flap changes from white to red, and when the liquid level in the container drops, the flap changes from red to white, and the red and white junction of the indicator is inside the container. The actual height of the liquid level, then we can see the liquid level in the container.

4. Process connection flange parts

Process connection flanges are used to mount and dock with the vessel under test. Therefore, when the instrument user selects and purchases, he must confirm the specification and model of the connecting flange of the container under test, and fully communicate with the supplier, otherwise the magnetic flap level gauge will not be installed.

5. Drain and vent components

The sewage and venting component of the magnetic flap level gauge is mainly used to discharge the liquid in the main pipe or the air in the upper end of the venting pipe during maintenance, and discharge sewage during cleaning. The component is working normally. It is generally closed during use.

Characteristics of the magnetic float in magnetic flow meter

At present, the magnetic floats with substandard technology on the market often have unstable magnetic steel, which is mainly manifested in that after a period of use, the magnetic properties of the magnetic float are obviously weakened, and the magnetic steel in the magnetic float and the small magnetic steel in the indicator are between the magnetic steel. It also loses the function of magnetic connection, so that the flip sheet on the indicator cannot be turned over effectively and thus loses the indication function, which seriously affects the normal production.

In view of the existing problems of the traditional magnetic float, the automation has been improved in a targeted manner. Generally speaking, the magnetic float in the current magnetic  Level gauge has the following characteristics:

The role of the magnetic float in magnetic type flow meter

When the measured liquid level in the container rises and falls, the magnetic float in the buoy also rises and falls, and the permanent magnet in the float drives the magnetic flip outside the buoy to turn 180 degrees through magnetic coupling. The flaps are painted with different colors (usually red and white) on each side to indicate the location of the liquid level. According to different liquid density, choose different volume and weight of float to match it to achieve the best measurement accuracy.

The magnetic float is mainly based on the buoyancy principle and the principle of magnetic-magnetic coupling, and has the function of driving the magnetic flipper to turn over with the rise and fall of the liquid level to indicate the liquid level.

In view of a series of drawbacks of traditional magnetic floats, in order to strictly control the quality of magnetic floats, each magnetic float that leaves the factory has undergone rigorous testing to ensure stable and reliable quality of magnetic floats.
