The industrial residual chlorine online analyzer is a brand-new residual chlorine analyzer. This watch is highly intelligent and flexible. It can measure residual chlorine, hypochlorous acid, pH and temperature at the same time. It is widely used in electricity, water supply, medicine , chemical, food and other industries, continuous measurement of residual chlorine and pH in water.
When chlorine is dissolved in pure water, it is automatically hydrolyzed into two substances: hypochlorous acid HOCL and hypochlorite CLO-, and its solubility curve is shown in the figure below.
It can be seen from the above relationship diagram. At pH 7.5 and temperature 25°C, chlorine exists as 52% HOCL and 48% CLO-. The sum of hypochlorous acid HOCL and hypochlorite CLO- represents free chlorine, and residual chlorine in industrial measurements generally refers to free chlorine. When the pH value is between 6-9.5, the sample is automatically and accurately compensated. Control solution pH without the need for expensive sample conditioning systems. Temperature changes will also affect the measurement of residual chlorine, and the built-in temperature sensor can automatically compensate for temperature (see the figure below for the relationship between temperature changes and residual chlorine value).
The residual chlorine sensor is sensitive to flow, and the minimum flow requirement is not less than 0.15 m/s. The constant flow control device is used to provide a stable sample flow, and the flow rate is preferably controlled between 30-90 l/h. (The relationship between current output and flow rate is shown in the figure below
