How to select pressure point when installing pressure transmitter?

In various working condition projects, in addition to using the level gauges such as bumper float gauges, we also have pressurebuy ceramic pressure transmitter - Hiltech transmitters or differential pressure transmitters. Then the pressure point of the pressure transmitter is explained here.

Pressure gauge installation method

When measuring gas pressure, the pressure point should be located in the upper part of the process pipeline. When measuring liquid pressure, the pressure point between the lower part of the process pipeline and the centerline of the process pipeline should be within the range of "0~45".

When measuring the steam pressure, the pressure point is taken within the range of 0 to 45 degrees at the level of the upper, lower and middle line of the process pipeline.

The installation position of the pressure source component should be selected in the stable part of the process medium flow. When the pressure source part and the temperature source part are located on the same pipeline, the pressure source part should be installed at the upstream end of the temperature source part. The end of the pressure source component cannot exceed the length of the inner wall of the process equipment and the process pipeline.

When measuring the pressure of turbid media, such as dust, solid particles or sediment on the vertical process pipeline, the source component should be inclined upward and the angle with the horizontal direction should be more than 30 degrees. The flow beam is installed at an acute angle, which is suitable for horizontal process pipelines. The installation position tube of the pressure transmitter should have sufficient light for easy operation and maintenance. It should not be installed in places subject to vibration, humidity, high temperature, corrosion and strong magnetic field interference.

The installation position of the pressure transmitter should be as close as possible to the power supply element. The installation height of the low-pressure transmitter should be consistent with the height of the pumping point, especially for liquid and condensate gas media. When measuring the pressure of a gaseous medium, the installation position of the transmitter should be above the pressure extraction point, and when measuring liquid or vapor pressure, the installation position of the transmitter should be below the pressure extraction point in order to provide exhaust and Additional facilities to reduce emissions.
