Open the 375/475 Communicator Select the HART Application from the Main Menu to find the locator from the On line. Enter Setup&Diag - Detailed Setup - Mode - Instrument Mode in turn (or press the shortcut key on the Communicator to enter directly) - Warning! The valve may move when in service mode is sent to the instrument. (WARNING! Valve may move when in Service mode is sent to the instrument.) Press OK to enter the instrument mode (Instrument Mode) select Out of service and press ENTER - prompt "Instrument mode is already out of service!" 

After returning to the main interface, enter Setup&Diag——Basic Setup——Auto setup——Setup Wizard in turn:

The steps of to debug the Fisher valve positioner

1. Select the pressure unit (Pressure units (psi)) you are using and then ENTER;

2. Enter the maximum supply pressure (Max Supply Press (psi)) and then ENTER;

3. After selecting the manufacturer of the actuator (Actuator Manufcture), after ENTER, if the above brands are not available, choose OTHER;

4. If the actuator is single-acting with spring, select 3, double-acting with spring, select 4, and double-acting without spring, select 2;

5. Select ROTARY, the next step is to select 2 and 2 off according to the valve zero signal, then select 1, then select 1 in the next step, and select YES in the next step to automatically select the valve steering and its gain;

7. The information indicating that the actuator is being sent to the instrument, please wait for "Actuator information is being sent to the instrument. Please wait...";

8. Select Use Factory defaults for setup? (Yes is recommended for Initial Setup) Yes and then ENTER;

9. Prompt The factory default settings are being sent to the instrument, please wait for "Factory default are being sent to the instrument. Please wait...";

10. Continue to Auto Setup Select amplifier adjustment "To continue Auto Setup.select Relay Adjust";

11. Would you like to make amp adjustments now? (Do you wish to run Relay Adjustment Calibration now?) If it is double-acting, select Yes, and single-acting select No and then ENTER;

12. Select travel calibration (To continue.select Auto Calib Travel.) and press OK;

13. Do you wish to perform automatic travel calibration now? (Do you wish to run Auto Travel Calib now ?Select YES if initial setup) Select Yes and press ENTER;

14. Warning! Calibration will cause a sudden change in the output of the meter Press OK;

15. Select Crossover Adjust (Select Crossover Adjust) Manual/Last Value/Default Under normal circumstances, select default and then ENTER. If the accuracy of the default adjustment is poor, Manual will be selected;

16. Enter the process of automatic travel calibration below. After completion, the instrument mode will return to In service!
