Glass Tube Rotameter Introduction

Glass Tube Rotameter is a Variable Area Flow Meter. A rotameter consists of a tapered tube, typically made of glass, with a 'float' made of SS or PTFE. The differentila pressure across the annulus area is constant. The float moves through the tapered tube up and down with respect to fluid flow. The vertical position of the float as indicated by scale is the measure of the instantaneous flow rate.

Glass rotameter flow meter is used to measure the instantaneous single-phase non-pulasting flux of liquid or gas in pipe in areas such as chemical,pertolum.medicine,dirtilizer ,food, sugar refinery,paper making,light industry ,textile,printing and dyeing,envirnmental pretection etc.PTFE,the high quality corrosion resistant material is used at the main contact parts of the corrosion resistant glass rotameter flow meter to contact the medium, it has a very good perfotmance of corrosion resistance in measuring various kinds of flow of strong acid(except hydroflucric acid) alkali,oxidant ,strong oxidation acid.organic solvent and other corrosive gas and liquid.
