Cryogenic globe valves are available with a wide range of connections and material combinations. They can be equipped with additional functions, such as bellows seals for increased tightness requirements, or with a non-return function. With this combination, use of a separate valve can be eliminated. Cryogenic globe valves are available in sizes from DN10 to DN200 and secure pressures up to 50 bar, at operating temperatures of -255°C to +120°C.
Cryogenic valves are specially designed for gas treatment processes and storage and transportation of liquefied gasses such as LNG, liquid nitrogen, Oxygen,. Etc. These valves are required to be operated to give assured leakage rates. These valves which are recommended to use below -50⁰C are designed with a extended bonnet which separates the operator and stem seal from the cold temperature. 12” gas column is a standard feature for these valves.
The main pressure containing components are treated with liquid nitrogen to stabilize dimensions and eliminate the stress caused by metal microstructure changes. Lip seals are used as a seals in these valves which are made up of different materials such as PTFE, KEL-F, etc, and it is self energized by an internal spring of stainless or Inconel alloy.
Extended bonnet, low emission packing
Stellite overlay on Wedge and Seat-ring
Bleed hole between upstream and backseat to prevent the pressure increase of body cavity.
Prevent stem unstable structure
Optional soft seal. Seat or disc with PTFE or PCTFE inserts (Globe, Check)
Type: Globe
Body Materials: Stainless Steel, Dual-Stainless Steel
Basic Design: API 600(Gate), BS 1873(Globe), BS EN 1868 (Check), ASME B16.34
Structure Length: ASME B16.34
End Connection: ASME B16.5, MSS SP-44, ASME B16.47, ASME B16.25, EN 1092
Test & Inspection: API 598
