A pressure sensor refers to a device or device that can sense a pressure signal and convert the pressure signal into a usable output electrical signal according to certain rules. It usually consists of a pressure sensitive element and a signal processing unit.
According to different test pressure types, pressure sensors can be divided into gauge pressure sensors, differential pressure sensors and absolute pressure sensors.
According to the difference in structure and principle, it can be divided into: piezoresistive, piezoelectric, capacitive, strain, vibration frequency, photoelectric, ultrasonic pressure sensors, etc.
Pressure sensors are the most widely used in industrial automation, mainly including ceramic pressure sensors, strain pressure sensors, diffused silicon pressure sensors, sapphire pressure sensors, and piezoelectric pressure sensors.
Pressure sensors are mainly used in booster cylinders, superchargers, gas-liquid booster cylinders, gas-liquid boosters, presses, compressors, air-conditioning refrigeration equipment and other fields.
1. Applied to hydraulic system
In the hydraulic system, the pressure sensor is mainly used to complete the closed-loop control of the force. When the control spool moves suddenly, a peak pressure several times the working pressure of the system will be formed in a very short time. In typical mobile and industrial hydraulics, any pressure sensor can quickly be destroyed if not designed with such conditions in mind. It is necessary to use a shock-resistant pressure sensor. There are two main methods for the pressure sensor to achieve shock resistance. One is to change the strain gauge chip, and the other is to connect an external coil. Generally, one method is used in the hydraulic system, mainly because of the installation. convenient. Another reason is that the pressure sensor is subject to constant pressure pulsations from the hydraulic pump.
2. Applied to safety control system
Pressure sensors are often used in safety control systems, mainly targeting the safety management system of the air compressor itself. There are many sensor applications in the field of safety control. As a very common sensor, it is not surprising that pressure sensors are used in safety control systems.
The application in the field of safety control is generally considered from the aspects of performance, from the consideration of price, and from the safety and convenience of actual operation. It has been proved that the effect of selecting the pressure sensor is very good. The pressure sensor uses the processing technology of mechanical equipment to install some components and signal conditioners on a small chip. So small size is also one of its advantages, in addition, cheap is another big advantage of it. To a certain extent, it can improve the accuracy of system testing. In the safety control system, the pressure brought by the compressor is controlled to a certain extent by installing a pressure sensor in the piping equipment at the air outlet. This is a certain protection measure and a very effective control system. When the compressor starts normally, if the pressure value does not reach the upper limit, the controller will open the air inlet to make the equipment reach high power by adjusting.
3. Applied to injection mold
Pressure sensors play an important role in injection molds. The pressure sensor can be installed in the nozzle of the injection molding machine, the hot runner system, the cold runner system and the cavity of the mold. Plastic pressure somewhere between the cavities.
4. Applied to monitoring mine pressure
Sensor technology is one of the key technologies for mine pressure monitoring. On the one hand, we should correctly apply various existing sensors to serve the mining industry; on the other hand, as a sensor manufacturer, we must also develop and develop new pressure sensors to adapt to more mining industry applications. There are many kinds of pressure sensors, and based on the special environment of mine pressure monitoring, mine pressure sensors mainly include: vibrating wire pressure sensor, semiconductor piezoresistive pressure sensor, metal strain gauge pressure sensor, differential transformer pressure sensor, etc. These sensors have a wide range of applications in the mining industry, and the choice of which sensor to use depends on the specific mining environment.
5. Applied to promote sleep
The pressure sensor itself cannot promote sleep. We just put the pressure sensor under the mattress. Due to the high sensitivity of the pressure sensor, when a person rolls over, heartbeat, breathing and other related actions, the sensor will analyze this series of information to infer sleep. What state does a person sleep in, and then through the analysis of the sensor, collect the signal of the sensor to obtain the sleep data such as heartbeat and breathing rhythm, and then process all the data into a piece of music, of course, it can compress your sleep one night into one piece. The first few minutes of music.
6. Used in compressors, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment
Pressure sensors are often used in air compressors and air-conditioning refrigeration equipment. These sensor products are small in size, easy to install, and the pressure guide port generally adopts a valve pin design.
1. Correct installation method of pressure sensor:
(1) Verify the frequency response value of the pressure transducer under normal atmospheric pressure and standard temperature conditions with appropriate instruments.
(2) Verify the correctness of the code of the pressure sensor and the corresponding frequency response signal.
2. Determine the specific installation location
In order to determine the number and specific installation position of the pressure sensor, it is necessary to consider each inflatable section of the inflatable net.
(1) The pressure sensor must be installed along the cable, preferably at the cable joint.
(2) No less than 4 pressure sensors are installed on each cable, and the two pressure sensors close to the telephone office should not be separated by more than 200m.
(3) Install one at the beginning and end of each cable.
(4) One branch point of each cable should be installed. If the two branch points are close to each other (less than 100 m), only one can be installed.
(5) One cable should be installed at the change of the cable laying method (overhead, underground)
(6) For unbranched cables, the installation distance of the pressure sensors should not be less than 500m due to the consistent cable program of the base line, and the total number of the pressure sensors should not be less than 4.
(7) In order to facilitate the determination of the fault point of the pressure sensor, in addition to installing the pressure sensor at the starting point, another one should be installed 150~200m away from the starting point. Of course, in the design, economic and technical factors must be considered. In place of the pressure sensor, it should not be installed.
Check the size
If the size of the installation hole is not suitable, the threaded part of the high temperature melt pressure sensor will be easily worn during the installation process, which will not only affect the sealing performance of the equipment, but also make the sensor unable to fully function, and may even cause safety hazards . Only a suitable mounting hole can avoid the wear of the thread (thread industry standard 1/2-20UNF2B). Usually, a mounting hole measuring instrument can be used to detect the mounting hole to make appropriate adjustments.
