A pressure sensor refers to a device or device that can sense a pressure signal and convert the pressure signal into a usable output electrical signal according to certain rules. It usually consists of a pressure sensitive element and a signal processing unit.

According to the difference in structure and principle, it can be divided into: piezoresistive, piezoelectric, capacitive, strain, vibration frequency, photoelectric, ultrasonic pressure sensors, etc.

Pressure sensors are the most widely used in industrial automation, mainly including ceramic pressure sensors, strain pressure sensors, diffused silicon pressure sensors, sapphire pressure sensors, and piezoelectric pressure sensors.

Pressure transducers application

Pressure sensors are mainly used in booster cylinders, superchargers, gas-liquid booster cylinders, gas-liquid boosters, presses, compressors, air-conditioning refrigeration equipment and other fields.

1. Applied to hydraulic system

In the hydraulic system, the pressure sensor is mainly used to complete the closed-loop control of the force. When the control spool moves suddenly, a peak pressure several times the working pressure of the system will be formed in a very short time. In typical mobile and industrial hydraulics, any pressure sensor can quickly be destroyed if not designed with such conditions in mind. It is necessary to use a shock-resistant pressure sensor. 3. Applied to injection mold

4. Applied to monitoring mine pressure

Differential pressure sensor installation method

1. Correct installation method of pressure sensor:

(1) Verify the frequency response value of the pressure transducer under normal atmospheric pressure and standard temperature conditions with appropriate instruments.

(2) Verify the correctness of the code of the pressure sensor and the corresponding frequency response signal.

2. Determine the specific installation location

In order to determine the number and specific installation position of the pressure sensor, it is necessary to consider each inflatable section of the inflatable net.

(1) The pressure sensor must be installed along the cable, preferably at the cable joint.

(2) No less than 4 pressure sensors are installed on each cable, and the two pressure sensors close to the telephone office should not be separated by more than 200m.

(3) Install one at the beginning and end of each cable.

(4) One branch point of each cable should be installed. If the two branch points are close to each other (less than 100 m), only one can be installed.

(5) One cable should be installed at the change of the cable laying method (overhead, underground)

(6) For unbranched cables, the installation distance of the pressure sensors should not be less than 500m due to the consistent cable program of the base line, and the total number of the pressure sensors should not be less than 4.

(7) In order to facilitate the determination of the fault point of the pressure sensor, in addition to installing the pressure sensor at the starting point, another one should be installed 150~200m away from the starting point. Of course, in the design, economic and technical factors must be considered. In place of the pressure sensor, it should not be installed.

Check the size

If the size of the installation hole is not suitable, the threaded part of the high temperature melt pressure sensor will be easily worn during the installation process, which will not only affect the sealing performance of the equipment, but also make the sensor unable to fully function, and may even cause safety hazards . Only a suitable mounting hole can avoid the wear of the thread (thread industry standard 1/2-20UNF2B). Usually, a mounting hole measuring instrument can be used to detect the mounting hole to make appropriate adjustments.
